Control 1 Plus

The JBL Control 1 Plus uses the same enclosure as the Control 1, but there the similarity ends. Control 1 Plus is a logical step upward in performance, offering greater bandwidth, higher power handling and less distortion.

Control 1 Plus provides better bass extension through the more powerful  5” inch woofer. The larger magnet assembly provides better control of cone movement for improved transient response and reduced distortion. Combined with our new cone material, you get surprisingly solid bass output to 60 Hz.

A pure titanium diaphragm tweeter has been added to provide smooth, accurate high frequency reproduction with much the same sound character associated with JBL’s larger studio monitors. Overall, Control 1 Plus exhibits greater sensitivity. Control 1 Plus systems are designed and shipped as matched ‘Left/Right’ mirror imaged pairs for superior stereo imaging. And, because the Control 1 Plus uses the same enclosure as the Control 1, it accepts all of the same accessories for wall, ceiling, desktop and micro phone stand mounting.
