Hi, when I see the TV's side by side, both playing a HD DVD and also pausing them, I cannot see any difference in the picture quality, (with my eyes), although I know that the Panasonic TH 42 PZ 700 E must be the better of the two TV's as it is full HD?

Also, I read that the Panasonic TH 42 PZ 700 E has many more colours, so again, it should be more accurate and a better picture, but again, I can't see any difference, so what are the main differences and is it worth spending the extra money to buy the Panasonic TH 42 PZ 700 E over the Panasonic TH 42 PX 700?

Secondly, if I buy the Panasonic TH 42 PZ 700 E from Sweden or Germany, is the Warranty still covered in Denmark, if I have the World Wide Warranty or the Pan Europe Warranty?

Thirdly, which is the best, (or cheapest) shop or online shop in Germany or Sweden?
(if there is one in Malmö maybe I can drive over)?

Thanks guys.

did you consider if the hd-dvd output was 720p? i think you would need 1080p material if you want to be able to see a difference between the 2 tvs.. and also you'd have to be pretty close to the tv's.. but im just guessing

Hi there, I am not too sure, but it was in Tapeconnection and it was Hong Kong Hustle that was playing and the 2 TV's were side by side and we played and paused them and I could not see a difference.
If I really thought it would make a difference in picture quality, I would definitely buy the Panasonic TH 42 PZ 700 E / Full-HD from Germany, as it is the same price.
But if it is about the same, then maybe it is not worth the hassle, instead of buying the Panasonic TH 42 PX 700 E here.
(I believe that the full HD TV, should be better, but I could not really see a difference, so that's why I am asking about it here).

Cheers...

Well, I only think the picture would be better on the PZ version, if they both were given a full HD signal.

I don't know if there are any other differences between the two than the possibility of showing 1080p on the PZ version. But if there are no other differences, any other signal than 1080p would provide the same output on both TV's.

If you see them next to each other again, try asking the store if they can show you full HD on both (then the PX version would scale down the picture, as that one can only show regular HD, but still receive full HD)
