Hmm Picasa har ikke noget med Outlook at gøre.
lidt fra en google tur :
Open outlook 03, click on the tools menu option, click options, click the Mail Format tab, make sure both Use MS Office Word 2003 to edite email messages and Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to read Rich Text email messages checkboxes are checked. If this does not work then click the Security tab up top of the options dialog box and click the button labeled Change Automatic Download Settings, see if changing any of these settings make a difference ie, Don’t download pictures or other content automatically in HTML email. Hope this helps you out.
Hi There
Fix to this problem of images not displaying in email body (Outlook 2003) is:
1. Close MS Outlook.
2. Go to the registry entry HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0OutlookSecurity, copy and paste the Value Data field in to Windows Explorer, where it opens the designated temp folder for Outlook attachments. You will see all sorts of files, likely to be over 200MB in size.
3. Delete ALL items listed in that temp folder, and then re-open MS Outlook. The images should now appear.
This would last as long as it takes to fill the folder again I guess.
I’ve been told that the problem is due to the same default image name can only be stored in a folder a maximum of 99 times. Eg, Image1.jpg which is often sent through emails is added to the temp folder each time it is opened from the email attachment.
If you are running Internet Explorer 7.0 and go to the directory indicated in the registry as indicated above, you will not see any files there. They are hidden and you will have to log in as another user in order to see and delete the files. Thank Micro$oft for making this such a pain
Thanks, Jess2008.
Deleting the files in the Temporary Outlook attachments folder has restored my ability to see images inserted into the body of my emails. This problem had been plaguing me and a co-worker for sometime. As a precautionary measure I backed up the files that were deleted just in case their removal triggered other problems. So far everything seems to be functioning normally.
Thanks for the help.
Keith
